What made you want to work at TDL?
I first heard about TDL from a careers event at the University of Reading, where I spoke to Oliver and Craig. Finding out the type of work they did and clients that they worked with made me interested and excited about the opportunity to work for TDL. I also loved that they have a tight-knit team of creatives.
If you could design one thing what would it be?
I think it would be really cool to design an advert for someone and have it displayed on a massive billboard.
If you weren’t a designer, what would you want to do?
Something that involves travelling all over the world.
If you had to frame one piece of graphic design what would it be?
I would frame one of the Assouline travel book covers. I love their minimalistic approach and their funky colours would look great hung up in my future home.

What is one piece of work you’ve done that you’re really proud of?
At university I collaborated with others on a re-brand for a climate organisation in Reading. I loved how this project turned out and it was really rewarding to show our final designs to the clients who almost teared up.
What’s your “party trick”?
I can double roll my tongue.
You’re having a TV marathon this weekend. Which box set would you choose and which snacks would you provide?
The answer will always be HARRY POTTER! Nothing could ever make me bored of these films, and my snack of choice would have to be the Co-op’s irresistible triple chocolate cookies (the whole packet).
Who would be your dream client and why?
Any fashion brand really. Maybe Lululemon because of my passion for running. I think creating campaigns or new collections for them would be super cool.
How do you embody the TDL team values? (creative & innovative, enthusiastic team, responsive & reliable)
Creative & innovative: I like to draw inspiration from all around to bring in fresh perspectives to my work, and experimenting with new design trends
Enthusiastic team: I always aim to bring a positive and enthusiastic attitude to the team. I love collaborating with people to create amazing designs by bringing in our strengths. I also try my best to keep those around me motivated.
Responsive & reliable: I’m always responsive to feedback and understand the importance of clear communication. I am very organised and consistently meet deadlines by setting myself realistic goals.
What are three things you’d love to learn this year?
- Learn a new language and perfect my Spanish speaking.
- This one’s not necessarily learning, but I would really like to get some new running PBs.
- Enhance my skills in designing for bids and tenders
You’re organising the TDL Christmas party – where do you send us?
If the budget was endless, I would love to send everyone on a trip to Iceland. To experience the Blue Lagoon, the Northern Lights, some cool activities – and to top it off, some festive food and cocktails!!
Think about your job role at TDL – which animal best represents you at work and why?
Probably a dolphin, they’re pretty social and travel in packs which represents my love for collaboration – and a cheeky gossip.
