THE CHALLENGE  

Cohesive approached TDL-Creative to help re-launch their asset management offer with a fresh approach through motion graphics.  The designs needed to be dynamic and engaging, with outputs relevant to internal teams and external audiences at different stages of the customer journey.  

We worked closely with Cohesive’s Director of Brand and Communications to capture their strategic direction, which we carried through to a suite of adaptable corporate motion designs and graphic assets.  

SOLUTION 1  

The first step in Cohesive’s brand evolution started internally, with an animated teaser designed to build excitement within their team. Working closely with Cohesive’s Director of Brand and Communications, alongside our partners Sleeping Giant, we developed a piece of animated storytelling that created anticipation and a sense of shared ownership about their brand identity. 

Our process began with a collaborative workshop session, exploring ideas and feedback from across their team. Listening to their perspectives helped shape a visual and narrative style that felt authentic to Cohesive’s ambitions – we needed to understand their challenges both internally and externally to deliver lasting change.

We scripted and storyboarded the animation in parallel, ensuring the flow of the story aligned with both visuals and voiceover. The final piece was voiced by their Director of Brand and Communications, adding a personal, human touch to the message and bringing authenticity to the outcome. The result was a short, dynamic video that introduced a refreshed visual identity, while also building pride, connection, and excitement for the new brand.

Video is such a contemporary way of building brand value and momentum. The combination of flashes of the new brand, a positive and energetic backing track, and the trusted voice from the team makes it feel real – and exciting! Even the graphic elements feel like they should move, so its great that we can bring them to life.

SOLUTION 2

Following the internal teaser, we created a longer brand overview video to introduce Cohesive’s refreshed identity to external audiences. This piece builds on the energy of the first video, clearly explaining what Cohesive delivers and how their solutions create long-term impact. 

Designed as a reusable resource, the video is played at events, shared online, and embedded in presentations. To ensure accessibility in any setting, we also produced a version with on-screen text for when sound is unavailable. 

With each new video we continued to develop their visual style, refining and exploring how the brand works. This helped to shape future work and build motion guidelines. 

SOLUTION 3  

To support Cohesive’s event presence and communicate the breadth of their expertise, we developed a series of videos built around their concept of three ‘horizons’. Each horizon illustrates how Cohesive meets clients at every stage of their digital transformation journey. 

The series introduced each horizon – from Enterprise Asset Management (Horizon One), through Asset Performance Management (Horizon Two), to Asset Lifecycle Management and AI (Horizon Three). Each film was crafted to explain complex concepts with clarity, using motion graphics to visualise data and animated storytelling to make information engaging and accessible. 

Working closely with their event team, we designed visuals that guided visitors through the stand and helped them identify where they were on their own horizon journey. The videos acted as both educational tools and brand-building assets, reinforcing Cohesive’s position as a trusted partner in asset management.

By creating a clear, visual narrative across multiple touchpoints, we provided Cohesive with flexible tools to communicate their evolving brand offer. Our collaboration extends beyond video and motion. We also developed a suite of supporting assets and deliverables to help Cohesive’s team apply the new brand efficiently and consistently. TDL-Creative continues to act as a trusted design partner, helping to shape an evolving brand into something tangible and engaging.
