To explain why London's Farringdon station was undergoing a transformation, Network Rail commissioned TDL to design a suite of exhibition and handout graphics. The exhibition needed to highlight what, where, when and why the construction work was taking place.

The exhibition was aimed at commuters who use Farringdon station.  Information was provided on why there would be disruption; during both the upgrade work required for Crossrail and the installation of a new ticket terminal. Our aim was to creating an exhibition that would engage with commuters with limited time.

We used a combination of infographics, photography, editorial content and 3D renders to create high-level informative outputs. Highly technical explanations were balanced with interesting facts that readers would associate with and remember, all designed within the strict brand guidelines set by Network Rail.

Alongside the public exhibition and handout we created a more detailed engineering version for the staff who worked on the project.

“TDL have the ability to translate intricately complicated messages into simple and effective stories for an array of different audiences. They take time to delve into the detail and emerge with clear, concise and impactful visuals which grab people's attention.”
