Phasing diagrams are a great way to show the timeline of when, where and what construction is taking place.
Many construction projects require detailed, but easy to understand, descriptions of how challenges are going to be solved, and risks mitigated. When showing a combination of timings, locations, and layers of information, the best way to go about this is the use of phasing diagrams.
Using the combined knowledge of client engineers and TDL designers, we sit together to sketch up and understand exactly what the diagrams need to communicate. By using layers of colours and patterns, partnered with a clear key, we can follow the story of the build from page to page. The addition of the timeline below each map gives the reader a sense of duration of the works and completes the narrative of the story being portrayed.
