These operating model diagrams were created for a bid to run the cycle hire scheme in London.
Often on large scale bids like this, there are many people working on it with mixed visions on exactly how to explain the high level operating model. For this particular project a TDL designer sat with several members of the client organisation, sketching the team’s ideas together on a white board, pulling information from different areas of the business and experts in their fields.
Once the brainstorming was complete it was time to rapid prototype the concept and seek approval for the various concepts created. This continuous development and feedback with the client ensured our solutions were fit for purpose across the whole bid team, with no time wasted in developing inappropriate solutions. The final diagram wasn’t just an accurate portrayal of the operating model; it was also on brand, eye catching, and engaging.
